HELLO family!! It has been a while since I have updated this. I think it is because I was home for a while for fall break. Which was wonderful and relaxing and refreshing. I do not have much new exciting news except for one VERY VERY VERY exciting thing!! Yesterday was auditions for Dance 35 which is the faculty choreographed dance concert that takes place at the end of February and beginning of March. To make a long story short... after 5 hours of auditions I made a piece!! I was soooooooooo excited because last year I didn't make any pieces and it was really discouraging and frustrating, but I have been working so hard since then and this summer I danced so much and I was just wanting this so bad!! To top it all off it isn't just ANY piece it is Dorrell Martin's piece and he is a guest teacher here he is from New York City and teaches at the Joffrey School there. He is amazing has been in a bunch of broadway shows (he was in The Lion King which is so cool) and has just done so much! He's amazing. He is going to work us so hard and help me improve so much, I cannot wait. Also, last year at the dance concert his piece was like the best one so I'm sure it will be again:) Rehersal starts tomorrow. It is going to be really rough because it is going to be 4 hour rehersals 2-3 days a week. It will be rough on my body and also my mind and also my school work..but I'll try to make it all work!! Even if it's so hard and so tiring I don't want to take one second of it for granted because it is such an amazing opportunity that I get to work with him. Oh and also...my roomie Natalie is in the piece as well so it just makes it EXTRA awesome. I'll keep you guys updated on that...but really that is the only new thing. Still working ,still doing homework, same ol' same ol'. Love you guys!!!
