So, I declared my major which means now I have an advisor in the Kinesiology department who is supposed to guide me in all that I do.... I have a meeting with her tomorrow and we're going to plan out my schedule of classes for the rest of my time here at Hope. This isn't for sure, but I'm pretty sure I am going to major in Exercise Science with a double minor in Dance and Psychology. I figured it out, and I'm pretty sure it will be possible- which is so exciting! I am also looking into studying abroad next year either first or second semester...not really sure yet. I have been looking at the options and am really interested in studying in New Zealand. We are going to talk about that tomorrow and look at all my possibilities!! I have such a passion to see the world. This could be my only chance to do it and I don't want to let opportunities pass me by. Hope really encourages studying abroad because they realize how much you learn about yourself and about the world while studying abroad. There is so much more than Holland and Chicago and the midwest and the United States of America. I don't want to be naive of my understanding of the world. God created so much and I want to see as much of it as I can. You learn so much about yourself while studying abroad. You learn about your limits and your comfort zones and how you handle a completely new environment. It's so exciting. I know everyone is probably thinking-MONEY. Well, I'm saving up what I can now and we'll just what happens. I'm obviously not going to let my family go bankrupt over this. The cool thing about studying abroad is that the tuition doesn't change the only think you pay for is the transportation to where you're going to study. Not saying that that isn't alot...But lets not think about the money right now. I just want to see all my opportunities and different things I can study while I'm there that will help in the long run of becoming a physical therapist. Who even knows whats going to happen. I just want to live life to the fullest. I LOVE ADVENTURES. and I love my family... I miss you guys alot. I'll be home for Fall Break in three weeks which is exciting. Holland just doesn't compare to Chicago. No picture updates yet...but THE PULL is next weekend so I'll have plenty of pictures from that:) Hope I'm not scaring anyone with my ambitions...I'm just in love with life. (and the idea of studying in New Zealand).
with so much love its insane,
